So the Ultra remains an option but I am kinda hoping that the Watch 9 takes some design queues (no more curved edges on the screen is the big one I'm hoping for) from it and I can go the sensible route. I've tried on the Ultra via a couple different friends and despite having a really small wrist, it doesn't look or feel overly big to me - size wise it looks about the same as any other "rugged" style watch would that are super popular here in Colorado. The Ultra was tempting last year - I do love the huge screen and longer battery life but all of the other features that kinda result in its price tag might feel a bit extra for me. The alternative is to optimize storage, which I actually don't want to do on my next computer (but I have to now). that will, as it explains, slowly download the files locally to my Mac at full resolution. Photos > Settings > iCloud > Download Originals to This Mac If I do that and select the option under. Then I want to link it to my iCloud Photos, of which I have like 25k+ photos and videos. The most powerful system monitoring app for macOS, right in your menubar. I want to make a NEW, BLANK Photos library on my Mac (well, future Mac because I'm out of space). I've resisted posting here a lot about it because I know it's probably annoying for someone to constantly ask random questions about a personal project.īut this is a time I think I need to ask, just because I don't have enough space to do it right now and try it out. I'm honestly pretty proud how much I have been able to accomplish on m own, LOL. It's been a journey migrating from Google Photos, let me tell you. So I'm deep in the throes of overhauling my entire photos organization on my Mac.
